Pride of the pitch will be holding various camps throughout the summer months. These camps are both for field players and goalkeepers and are done with teams that Pride of the Pitch works with both during the Fall and Spring seasons. More more information about having a camp at your club or organization please contact us and we can set up a camp just for you.
The 2009 Summer League starts today and we are excited to get our second season underway. This year will have twelve teams competing for the final eight playoff spots with a chance to get $150 off next years registration fee. The games this year will again be at Mary Street Fields on the campus of East Stroudsburg as well as the Notre Dame High School Field. Game times are set for 5:30 and 7:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday. 5/6/2009 - High School Girls Fall League
Pride of the Pitch is planning a Fall High School Girls League for 2009. This will allow players to stay sharp during the off season as well stay in shape througout the down months. We are looking for teams so if you or someone you know would be interested contact us and let us know. We look forward to providing this opportunity to the local girls high school soccer teams in both the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.
3/13/09 U.S. Women’s Soccer Stars kick things up at the 2009 U.S. Women’s Open Championship!

U.S. Women’s Soccer Star kicks things up at the 2009 U.S. Women’s Open Championship! The most prestigious women’s golf championship will be held July 6-12 at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. A truly affordable family-friendly event, kids 17 and under are admitted FREE all week to the Championship when accompanied by a ticketed adult (they also receive a complimentary lunch voucher on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Championship week). Beyond the golf, the 2009 U.S. Women’s Open will provide entertainment for soccer enthusiasts.
Julie Foudy (two-time World Cup Champion and former captain of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team) will be on the grounds, Tuesday, July 7th, for our Celebration of Women in Sport clinic. Julie will provide her own special brand of inspiration and athletic advice for young athletes and fans along with Shannon Miller (two-time Olympic Gold Medalist in Gymnastics), Rebecca Lobo (ESPN analyst and former WNBA and University of Connecticut basketball standout) and Michelle Marciniak (former WNBA and University of Tennessee national basketball champion). On Wednesday, July 8th, Robin Roberts (co-Anchor of ABC's Good Morning America) and 6 year old Kyle Lograsso (golf prodigy) will share their inspirational stories. Children will also have VIP access to the Kids Club, an exclusive tented area, in the middle of the action, with interactive games and a real practice putting green. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

2/23/09 - 2009 Summer League Information
After an exciting first year Pride of the Pitch is looking to build on the success of the 2008 Pocono Adult Summer League. We are looking for more teams to join in the fun and challenge for this years championship. If you would like more information please contact league comissioner Rusty Riedmiller and ask for more details or how you can be a part of the league.
